Full course description
Local Business Marketing - Elizabeth Minton. May 26-June 12, 2020. Online. This course provides a quick start with marketing practices for people involved with local businesses or desiring to operate local businesses. The course will provide a basic overview of what marketing is, the 4 P’s (product, place, price, promotion), and then provide a 6-step process to marketing a local business. At the beginning of the course, participants will pick a business (either their own, a family member’s, or one they are interested in) to be the focal point for the course. Participants will apply learning to their business for the remainder of the course, culminating in a brief powerpoint-based marketing plan for their business.
